The Blacksmith is the generic “Hive Mind” of The Writing Forge. There is much debate as to the true identity of The Blacksmith. It may or may not even be a real person. But some think it may consist of multiple of the authors on this list (Daniel swears by all the fallen gods that it’s not him).
The Blacksmith is generally responsible for posting tips and tricks from The Writer’s Compendium as well as the exercises that The Forge uses in its weekly meetups.
It is the builder . . . it is the craftsman . . . the hand that wields the hammer of The Forge.
John J. Charbel is an aspiring fantasy novelist (W.I.P.) and is an original founder of The Writing Forge. He writes short stories, poetry, and dabbles in riddles.

Max J. Rosar is an aspiring writer who’s influences include the pillars of the authorial realm such as Bradburry, McCarthy, and Gaiman. When he’s not toiling away on his debut novel, Eve, you can find him traipsing around the woods, in a pair of sneakers or a snowboard if its frosty enough.
An aspiring romance/fantasy novelist also working on her autobiography. She was born with spastic diplegic Cerebral Palsy, hoping to publish in the genre of Disability Narratives. She is 33 years old, half Dominican, and has a B.A. in English from St. Joseph’s University. Free verse poetry is her “little black dress”. She has been to six countries outside of the U.S. and her favorite country from her travels is Tanzania. Her friends call her “Malkia”, which is queen in Swahili.

She first danced into storytelling through her colorful illustrations, and her debut children’s book ‘Yelli Jelli Makes a Witchy Pie’ published in 2022. With four more children’s tales ready to frolic into the world, Danielle is excited to venture into the realms of fantasy world building with her newest writing project, determined to sprinkle magic through the beauty of the written word.
