The craft of writing, one of the most intensive yet delicate of all the arts. Not only can words provide you with a riveting narrative, but they let you see things in the paintings of your mind, hear things, taste, touch. Writing transports you to a world that can be even beyond imagination, worlds so real that we can become lost in them—or even find what we were looking for.
This is why The Writing Forge exists. To explore worlds. To fly freely in the infinite possibilities of the blank page. The art of writing and storytelling is indeed one of the most important arts. For all our lives are structured on a narrative, and without that . . . we fall apart.
So, join us, look out for our stories, write some of your own! Hopefully, we will entice you enough to grow in respect and appreciation for the written word, which we believe to be the greatest manifestation of our human potential.
We have weekly meetings every Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. EST on Discord.
Our Discord is the hub where we practice the craft. Every week, we spend 45 minutes in a writing session addressing various unique prompts. We have people of all backgrounds and age groups, and we’re happy to accept all—as long as you can give and take criticism well and if you’re a team player.
